This wood was previously a fence in Mill Valley which was waste diverted, nails removed and ends cleaned. Wood species is unknown. Price is $10 per board with 43 currently available.

Our vision for a Nantucket Salvage Center incorporates intentional design that honors Nantucket’s unique history and architectural heritage, preserves its natural beauty, and improves the social health of the island’s residents and visitors.
Our Salvage Outposts will collect, store and distribute architectural materials to the Island, with the goal to create a positive movement of deconstruction and waste diversion on the island.

While Nantucket Salvage focuses on recovering and reusing architectural materials, SALTIE expands that mission through exhibitions, educational programs, creative partnerships, and public access to reclaimed resources. Select reclaimed building materials are made available free of charge through SALTIE Museum, helping local residents, artists, nonprofits, and community organizations give beautiful materials a second life.
